Quran Sharif Bangla Translation by Girish Chandra Sen is a Islamic book translated
in Bengali. The Holy Quran is the central religious text or book of Islam, which Muslims
believe to be a revelation from Allah. It is widely regarded as the finest
piece of literature in the Arabic language. Quranic chapters are called
suras and sentence are called ayat. Girish Chandra Sen was a
religious scholar and translator of Bangladesh. Girish Chandra was a
Brahmo Samaj missionary but well known for being the first translator of
the Quran Shareef into Bengali language in 1886. He was born on 1835
in Narayangojn, Bangladesh and died on 15 August 1910 in Kolkata,
India. He wrote many books about Islam such as Hadith-Purba Bibhag, Mahapurus Ccharita, Mahapurush Mohammad O Tatprabartita Islam Dharma, Imam
Hasan O Husainer Jibani, Charijan Dharmaneta, Charti Sadhvi Musalman
